AP’s reusable satellite startup wins global award

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) hosted the Global Student Entrepreneurs Awards final competition in association with GITAM (deemed to be university) here.
Total six teams competed in finals for awards. The Decisions Technologies Pvt Ltd Senior Vice-President P Srinivas, We Founder Circle co-founder Saurabh Deo and Effitronics Vice-President Anvesh Dasari attended as judges to finalize the awards. Startup Taramandal Technologies’s team, which is building an innovative, reusable satellite that not only propels payloads into space but revolutionises their safe return to earth, won the first prize and the team Kephi Innovations focusing on revolutionising aquaculture and environmental sustainability finished second.
Rentyaar, a startup that provides rental platforms to students to rent out their unused belongings was the second runner-up. While presenting the awards Andhra Pradesh chapter of Entrepreneurs’Organization (EO) president Vidhan Mittal said that EO is a global, peer-to-peer network of more than 14,000 influential business owners with 206 chapters in 61 countries.
